Privacy Policy
Last Updated: June 2026
This Privacy Policy governs the use of the PixelDisc mobile application ("the Application") on iOS and Android devices.
We believe in keeping your data secure and minimal. The Application is designed around local gameplay, career tracking, and competitive leaderboards, collecting only the absolute necessary information required to provide these features.
1. Information We Collect and How We Use It
Game Progression & Authentication
To track your career progress across sessions, the Application integrates with native platform gaming services:
- Apple Game Center (iOS): Used to securely manage your unique player identity (UUID) and persist your career progress.
- Google Play Games Services (Android): Used similarly for player identity and career cloud saves.
No personal real-world identifiers (such as your legal name or phone number) are pulled from these accounts or stored by the Application.
Leaderboard Data
If you participate in competitive modes, your high scores and a self-chosen or platform-assigned username will be sent to our backend database to populate global leaderboards. This data is purely transactional and is not linked to any real-world identity.
2. Third-Party Services
To support leaderboard infrastructure, analytics, and distribution, the Application utilizes the following third-party services:
- Firebase (Google): Used to store and sync leaderboard entries, daily challenge data, and career progress. No personal identification data is kept within Firebase. Firebase Privacy Policy
- Apple App Store / TestFlight: For app distribution, crash logs, and platform analytics. Apple Privacy Policy
- Google Play Store: For Android distribution and platform analytics. Google Privacy Policy
3. Data Retention and Deletion
Your career stats and local configurations are heavily tied to your device and your Game Center / Play Games profile. You can request the deletion of any competitive leaderboard data tied to your unique gaming identifier at any time by contacting us at the email listed below.
4. Children’s Privacy
The Application does not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. We do not collect personal information; however, if a parent or guardian believes data has been improperly handled, please contact us immediately.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
6. Contact Us
